Bill Cobbs, most recently known for his role in the hit children’s series ‘Night at the Museum,’ has reportedly passed away at the age of 90. His death was covered in many publications, including the New York Times.
He passed away at his home in the Inland Empire region of California. His death was initially announced by his brother on social media.
The post Cobbs’ brother wrote about his beloved brother reads, “We are saddened to share the passing of Bill Cobbs. On Tuesday, June 25, Bill passed away peacefully at his home in California. A beloved partner, big brother, uncle, surrogate parent, godfather and friend, Bill recently and happily celebrated his 90th birthday surrounded by cherished loved ones. As a family we are comforted knowing Bill has found peace and eternal rest with his Heavenly Father. We ask for your prayers and encouragement during this time.”

During his illustrious career in the film industry, Cobbs appeared in over 200 films, and even had some experience in theater acting.
Though he was a Hollywood star, Cobbs never let his success get the better of him. He was known as a caring and loving individual who impacted the lives of nearly everyone he encountered. Cobb also had roles in “Sesame Street,” and “The Sopranos.”
He will be remembered for his vibrant smile and personality, as well as his talent on the screen. There will certainly never be another Bill Cobbs.
