Allen Iverson Brutally Roasted For Tiny Statue (Video)
The Philadelphia 76ers brought legendary guard Allen Iverson outside of their stadium today in order to unveil a statue, and it didn’t go well. The 76ers unveiled a statue that was no more than three feet tall.
Iverson, who is just six foot tall himself towered over the statue, even though the statue is elevated at least three feet off of the ground. The statue immediately became the subject of brutal ridicule online, where internet users claimed that the NBA legend was angered by his miniature statue.
Barstool Sports, which uploaded one of the earliest versions of the clip, captioned the video by saying, “Allen Iverson might’ve been expecting a bigger statue outside the Sixers practice facility.”

Immediately after fans began watching the video, memes began to pour in. Users made fun of Iverson’s height, and the fact that the Philadelphia 76ers brought the legend all the way to Philadelphia to unveil a statue that was incredibly small.
Were Iverson and his team expecting a larger statue, and were they insulted by the miniature figurine?
Iverson played for the Philadelphia 76ers from 1996 to 2006, at his peak averaging over 33 points and 7 assists per game. Iverson had four seasons with the 76ers in which he averaged over 30 points per game.
After departing the team in 2007, Allen Iverson would go on to play for the Nuggets and the Pistons before eventually returning to the 76ers during the 2009 season. During that return season, the guard averaged 13 points in 31 minutes per game.
What do you think? Was Iverson slighted with this statue? Let us know what you think in the comment section. Maybe the 76ers could have left AI out of this one!

That is pretty comical. It’s way too small to have outside. If they had that statue inside, and with that statue they had pictures of him and a story his career to go along with the statue, then it’s a perfect size. Let’s say they did that with other players too, that would actually be a pretty cool thing to have inside. You’d have these statues of players with stuff about them, really cool. That tiny statue outside though is a joke.
