President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama arrived in New York City this morning for a day of fundraising prior to President Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign. The President is scheduled to attend a campaign reception at Radio City Music hall tonight at 8:05 pm.

Barack Obama and Joe Biden could be seen exiting the smaller steps of Air Force One this morning, each waving to the press that had gathered to capture their arrival. See a video of the duo arriving in New York this morning below,

While Obama and Biden are set to attend a slew of fundraisers in New York City, former President Donald Trump attended the wake of fallen NYPD officer Jonathan Diller in Long Island.

Obama and Biden are not set to appear at that same wake despite being in New York City. With both major political party candidates for President in New York City at the same time, it’s interesting to see the contrast in how they spend their time.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters aboard Air Force One this morning that Biden placed a call to New York City Mayor Eric Adams and ‘gave his condolences,’ making no mention of Diller’s wife and one-year-old son that have been left without a husband and father.

Hear a clip of that response by Jean-Pierre aboard Air Force One this morning below,

Biden will be landing at the Wall Street Landing Zone via helicopter today at 1 PM. We reported on Trump’s visit to the wake this morning, where he briefly spoke to the media.
