President Joe Biden ranted about Snickers bars, and a commercial about 10% less candy being in each bar, during his State of the Union address tonight. The remark drew laughs from members of Congress in the audience.
The President can be quoted as saying during his remarks,
“You probably all saw that commercial on Snickers bars, and you get, and you get charged the same amount, and you got about, I don’t know, about 10% fewer Snickers in it.”

The President then discussed Laken Riley, a 22-year-old University of Georgia student who was brutally murdered. Biden was confronted by Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene before his speech, as Greene urged him to say the name of the fallen student.
Biden proceeded to say her name, but making a mistake, the President called Laken Riley ‘Lincoln’ from the podium, causing additional outrage online, and amongst members of Congress. Greene could be seen urging Biden to say Riley’s name from the crowd. See a video of that moment below,
