Campaign Takeover Bid By Former Trump Manager Corey Lewandowski Fails As Former President Surges In The Polls
Slingshot News has exclusively confirmed that disgraced former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski attempted a coup within the former president, Donald Trump’s camp in order to seize total operational control of the campaign from Trump’s current campaign, co-leaders Susan Wiles, and Chris LaCivita.
Contrary to the insistence of online pundit Emerald Robinson, Lewandowski’s attempt to grab control of the campaign failed, and he has been relegated to a bus tour of Pennsylvania with Governor Kristi Noem, who Lewandowski unsuccessfully pushed for the Vice Presidential nomination, and has been rumored to be conducting an extra marital affair with.
Lewandowski reportedly went as far as to leak a story to the Daily Beast falsely claiming that Trump campaign co-chair Chris LaCivita has been paid $22 Million during the 2024 Presidential campaign.
The longtime political operative has allegedly been banished from the Trump campaign headquarters and was missing from the former President’s entourage on his recent trip to California.
Lewandowski, a veteran political operative with a rampant documented history of sexual assault, was rehired by the Trump campaign in August of 2024. Lewandowski served as the campaign manager of Trump’s 2016 campaign until he was fired during the Republican Primary.
The controversial political operative previously served as Trump’s campaign manager in 2016, recently being placed in a ‘Senior Advisor’ on the Trump 2024 campaign. Sources tell Slingshot News that Lewandowski had no specific authority other than to advise. The troubled advisor’s alarming history of sexual assault elicited numerous attacks against the Trump campaign just hours after the news of Lewandowski’s hiring broke.
The Democrat National Committee released a statement blasting Lewandowski as an ‘Ultra-MAGA Creep,’ highlighting the operative’s history of sexual assault.
Troubling Allegations Of Sexual Assault Against Lewandowski In Las Vegas
In September of 2021, Lewandowski was accused by Trashelle Odom, the wife of Idaho construction executive John Odom, of making unwanted sexual advances. Lewandowski reportedly repeatedly touched Odom on her legs and buttocks while speaking to her in graphic sexual terms
Lewandowski then allegedly stalked the woman throughout the charity event which was held at the Las Vegas Westgate Hotel and Casino. Odom told Politico about the incident at the time,
“On the evening of September 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada, I attended a dinner to support a charity and spend time with wonderful friends. He repeatedly touched me inappropriately, said vile and disgusting things to me, stalked me, and made me feel violated and fearful.
I am coming forward because he needs to be held accountable. I am blessed to have a loving husband and family behind me. I want other women to know that you can be heard, too, and together we can stop terrible things like this from happening.”
Trashelle Odom would eventually file a police report over Lewandowski’s behavior. Her attorney Matthew K. Taylor sent Odom’s statement about the incident at the Westgate Hotel and Casino to the Boise Police Department in Idaho, where Odom lives, so that her local police department could forward it to the police department in Las Vegas.
Lewandowski Reportedly Described His ‘Sexual Performance’ To Trashelle Odom.
The Trump campaign announced that it would be cutting ties with Lewandowski after this incident became a national news story. At the time, the longtime Trump operative had been running a pro-Trump Super PAC Make America Great Again Action.
The disturbing situation with Trashelle Odom ended with a plea agreement in which Lewandowski was forced to complete ‘counseling and community service.’ He also reportedly paid a fine of $1,000.
John Odom, the husband of Lewandowski’s victim Trashelle, requested a refund for a $100,000 donation he had made to the Trump campaign in 2023 after it was announced that Trump had hired Lewandowski in a limited role.
Lewandowski Charged With Battery In Florida For Grabbing Reporter
2021 was not the first time that Corey Lewandowski had been accused of inappropriate behavior, nor the first time that he was charged for a physical altercation involving a woman.
The controversy that eventually led to the downfall of Lewandowski’s role with the 2016 Trump campaign was an incident with reporter Michelle Fields. The veteran political operative was charged with battery for grabbing the reporter, an aggressive act that was caught on video that was eventually released by the Jupiter Police Department.Hyped up on his powerful position in the 2016 Trump campaign, Corey Lewandowski grabbed Michelle Fields and forced her away from Donald Trump.
Though Lewandowski was never charged with battery, as the Palm Beach County prosecutor chose not to pursue a criminal prosecution of the campaign manager, the incident has plagued his name since it occurred.
Alleged Affair With Married Woman North Dakota Governor Kristi Noem Adds To Checkered Past Of Deviance.
In September of 2023, the New York Post reported that Lewandowski had reportedly been having an affair with North Dakota Republican Governor Kristi Noem. The Governor has been married to her husband Bryon Noem since 1992.
The couple has three children together. That reportedly didn’t stop Corey Lewandowki from pursuing a sexual relationship with Noem. They were reportedly seen ‘making out’ in a bar in Orlando during the CPAC convention in 2021.
An eyewitness recounted seeing the pair, telling the Post,”It wasn’t like 2 a.m. It isn’t like we caught them at some dive bar miles away. It’s a lobby bar where everyone is staying and so there’s a bajillion political operatives and journalists and electeds around. I remember I saw it with my own eyes and a couple other people saw it and the blatantness was absurd.”
Lewandowski and Noem were even reportedly spotted getting ‘handsy’ as far back as December of 2020 at President Trump’s Mar-A-Lago club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Lewandowski Spelled Trouble For Trump With Suburban Women In 2024 Election.
If there’s been one group of voters that has routinely been tough to court for former President Donald Trump throughout his political career, it’s suburban women. Trump himself has even parodied his struggles during speeches, joking begging suburban women to ‘please like him’ dating back to 2020.The former President has struggled to win over women voters for several reasons, one of which being the onslaught of media coverage portraying Trump as an ‘anti-woman’ politician. Analysts and news hosts have attacked the former President with this label for a number of reasons, including his stance on abortion, his comments about several women including Rosie O’Donnell and Megyn Kelly, and the infamous ‘Access Hollywood’ tape in which Trump claims that women allow him to grab them by their ‘p*****.’Trump, despite these attacks, has always promoted his hiring of women in real estate, particularly in New York in the early 1970s.
Trump’s hiring of women like Barbara Res to build Trump Tower served as a tremendous victory for women entering the workforce, not just in real estate, but in business in general.Secondarily, Trump has leaned on the political wisdom of Susie Wiles, a veteran political operative who is the daughter of legendary NFL broadcaster Pat Summerall, to run his campaign throughout the 2024 Election… and to much success. If there’s one person associated with the Trump campaign that will certainly help bolster the narrative that Trump is an ‘anti-woman’ candidate heading into the 2024 Election, it’s Corey Lewandowski.
From the Michelle Fields incident to the creepy Trashelle Odom fundraiser assault, Corey Lewandowski’s history is a rightful turn-off for millions of suburban women voters. The fact that the disgraced political operative was reportedly dismissed speaks volumes to the seriousness the Trump campaign is taking with women voters in 2024, if their radically changed stance on abortion wasn’t enough to tip you off.
