EXCLUSIVE: The Pence Family Plot To Ban Trump From The 2024 Ballot

Slingshot News released a bombshell report just days ago detailing billionaire hedge fund manager Paul Singer’s funding of a wave of retirements in the House GOP heading into the 2024 Election. In a separate report, we also exclusively revealed that Kevin McCarthy is quarterbacking this effort in the House GOP.

Due to the Supreme Court ruling on the State of Colorado’s attempt to remove President Trump from the 2024 Presidential ballot, Congress has been given the explicit power to ban an individual from appearing on a ballot in a federal election.

The Supreme Court ruled that it is Congress, not the States, that have the power to ban a candidate from appearing on the ballot. With Republicans in control of the House of Representatives, this prospect seems impossible, however, due to the efforts of Paul Singer and scorned former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, the possibility of Trump being banned from the Presidential ballot has become a real possibility.

Wisconsin Representative Mike Gallagher, who represents the 8th Congressional District in the State, has announced that he will be retiring from Congress before his term expires, on April 19th, 2024. Gallagher’s decision to not retire prior to the first Tuesday in April will mean that his heavily Republican district will not have a special election to replace him before November, leaving the seat vacant.

The Republican Majority was cut to 218-213 when Representative Ken Buck retired his position before his term expired last week. Gallagher’s retirement will bring the majority down to just 217. With Democrats gaining a seat in Alabama this week, the balance of power currently sits at 218 to 214 in the House, with Gallagher’s departure set to bring the numbers to just 217 to 214.

Within our article, we identified 14 members of Congress that have decided not to seek re-election heading into the 2024 Election. Those members are,

  • Debbie Lesko (AZ-8)
  • Kay Granger (TX-12)
  • Brad Wenstrup (OH-2)
  • Michael Burgess (TX-26)
  • Patrick McHenry (NC-10)
  • Drew Ferguson (GA-3)
  • Doug Lamborn (CO-5)
  • Larry Bucshon (IN-8)
  • Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-3)
  • Greg Pence (IN-6)
  • Jeff Duncan (SC-3)
  • Matt Rosendale (MT-2)
  • Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-5)

Billionaire Paul Singer, who funded Marco Rubio’s 2016 Presidential campaign against Trump, funded the research used in the Steele Dossier, and recently donated $5,000,000 to Nikki Haley’s failed Presidential campaign challenge against Trump, funds six of these Representatives.

With the 2024 Election approaching, Next News Network, which picked up our report and expanded upon it, asked possibly the next most important question… Who will retire next?

As stated previously, the Republican majority after Gallagher departs in mid-April will be just 217 to 214. Three seats away from Democrat control. If the Democrats can win even a few of the upcoming special elections in Ken Buck, Kevin McCarthy, and Bill Johnson’s former seats, the possibility of seeing a Hakeem Jeffries Speakership becomes an extremely likely possibility.

In fact, it is likely that a retirement of one of the 24 officials listed above will ultimately cede control of the House of Representatives to Hakeem Jeffries and the Democrats. The most notable member of Congress on that list is the brother of former Vice President Mike Pence, Greg Pence.

Pence is among the six Representatives who has received donations from anti-Trump billionaire Paul Singer. He is also the brother of Trump’s former Vice President, who has been a vocal critic of the former President, and has already said that he will not endorse Trump for the 2024 Election.

See Singer’s donation to Pence below,

FEC

There is legitimate bad blood between the former President and Vice President, and given Greg Pence’s donations received from Paul Singer, we have to assume that he is high on the list of potential additional retirements heading into 2024.

Pence has served Indiana’s 6th Congressional District since 2019. He is 67 years old. In Next News’ coverage of our initial story on Singer, host Gary Franchi highlights Pence’s age and his donations from Paul Singer.

There is a real possibility that former Vice President Mike Pence and his family could determine the outcome of the 2024 Presidential Election. If the Democrats are able to obtain control of the House prior to the 2024 Election, a Speaker Hakeem Jeffries would most certainly pass a resolution to ban Trump from the ballot, which would then be passed by the Democratic majority in the Senate.
