‘General Hospital’ Actor Johnny Wactor Killed In Los Angeles Shooting




Johnny Wactor, an actor on the television drama ‘General Hospital’ has reportedly been fatally wounded by a shooting that took place in Los Angeles today. Little is know as of right now about the situation.

He was just 37 years old.

We do know that the actor was reportedly shot by multiple suspects who were allegedly out stealing catalytic converters from vehicles. It is unknown whether Wactor was simply a witness to a theft, or whether or not his property was involved.

Johnny Wactor, known for his role in “General Hospital,” was tragically killed in downtown Los Angeles early Saturday morning, according to TMZ.

Wactor, 37, was with a coworker when they encountered three men tampering with his car. Scarlett, Wactor’s mother, told TMZ that her son did not resist or confront the suspects, but they shot him nonetheless before fleeing the scene. The incident, described by police as an attempted catalytic converter theft, occurred around 3 AM PT. Paramedics rushed Wactor to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities have not released a description of the suspects involved. Scarlett Wactor expressed her hope that the perpetrators would be apprehended quickly.

Wactor began his acting career in 2007 on Lifetime’s “Army Wives,” taking on various roles. Over the next two decades, he built a steady career with appearances in popular shows like “Westworld,” “The OA,” “NCIS,” “Station 19,” “Criminal Minds,” and “Hollywood Girl.”

He is best remembered for his role as Brando Corbin on “General Hospital,” where he portrayed the character from 2020 until 2022. On the show, Brando was married to Sasha Corbin, a character battling drug addiction.

Scarlett Wactor described her son as a loving young man, stating that his death leaves a significant void in their family. He is survived by his mother and his younger brothers, Lance and Grant.
