According to reports released by ABC news, shooter Genesse Ivonne Moreno allegedly has a history of severe mental illness. She even reportedly inflicted abuse upon an ex-lover, Enrique Carranza, who claims that Moreno threw her keys at him, and was extremely verbally abusive.
The shooter is dead, being killed in an exchange of gunfire with several responders, a Houston police officer and a Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission agent, opened fire on Moreno after she began to fire.
Moreno also claims in the video that she has a bomb, telling the officer and agent to stop shooting at her. Moreno’s son, who was shot in the head during the altercation, has been fighting for his life this week. He is just 7 years old.
This young man was reportedly born with drugs in his blood as a result of his mother’s habitual drug use, and was dragged into the horrific shooting by his mother. He was also reportedly born prematurely due to his mother inducing her own birth.
We await more updates from the Houston Police Department after this gruesome tragedy. The release of this footage is a tremendous step in revealing the intent, and motive of this shooting.
