Popular Adult Film Star Dead At 26

Popular adult film star Sophia Leone passed away this week at the age of 26. No cause of death has been released.

Sophia was reportedly found unresponsive in her apartment earlier this month; she was discovered by her family. An investigation into the cause of death has been initiated to determine the exact reason for the death.

Leone’s stepfather, Mike Romero, made a statement following Sophia’s passing.

“On behalf of her mother and family, it is with a heavy heart that I have to share the news of our beloved Sophia’s passing,”

The sudden loss of Sophia has left her family and friends devastated and in shock. On top of the difficult process of grieving and seeking justice for Sophia, the family is also facing the financial burden that they were not prepared for,” Romero added.

Sophia’s modeling agency, 101 Modeling, also confirmed the star’s death in a post on Twitter.

“hearts are broken by the untimely and tragic passing of our beloved Sophia Leone.”

“A beautiful spirit who touched many of us. RIP sweet angel and know how much we loved you. A gofund me has been started for her family,”

Sophia was born in June 1997 in Miami and began her career in the adult entertainment industry at the age of 18. Throughout her career, Leone starred in over eighty films and accumulated a net worth of one million dollars.

Leone’s modeling agency stated Leone’s death was not a suicide, and is being investigated as a possible “home invasion homicide.”

Mike Romero started a GoFundMe for the funeral expenses.

Romero has already raised almost $6,000, nearly half of his goal, as of Saturday afternoon on behalf of Veronica Lopez. “Sophia will be deeply missed but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her,” Romero wrote. “May she rest in eternal peace.”
