Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has been at the center of a recent controversy because of a backwards American flag that briefly flew over a property that he owns. The flag was put up backwards by Alito’s wife, who due to a dispute with a neighbor that called her a four letter expletive that starts with C.
Alito’s wife chose to fly the flag upside-down because it is a signal of distress, a decision that was born entirely of a neighborhood spat with quite literally zero political implications.
That hasn’t stopped mainstream outlets, namely MSNBC, from turning the ‘Alito flag controversy’ into a huge, contrived, and ridiculous campaign in order to attempt to coerce Alito to recuse himself from any case relating to former President Donald Trump.
This morning, Alito released a statement in which he said,
“The two incidents you cite do not meet the conditions for recusal. As I have stated publicly, I had nothing whatsoever to do with the flying of that flag. I was not even aware of the upside-down flag until it was called to my attention.”

Altio, who was appointed to the Supreme Court in 2005 by President George W. Bush has been among the most consistent Conservative votes on the Court over the last decade.
The public pressure campaign being mounted against, mostly by former Biden White House officials like Jen Psaki at MSNBC, was possibly one of the most unveiled mob-like attacks against a Supreme Court Justice that the United States has ever seen.
While those in the Biden Administration, and former Biden Administration in the media, continue to allege that it is Donald Trump who exhibits ‘mob-like’ tactics, it is actually they themselves who continue to use these methods.
The attacks against Alito weren’t credible, and truly not serious. No person who thinks critically would have believed them for a second.
Alito was cheered on by former President Donald Trump in a Truth Social post made today. That post reads,
“Congratulations to United States Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito for showing the INTELLIGENCE, COURAGE, and “GUTS” to refuse stepping aside from making a decision on anything January 6th related. All U.S. Judges, Justices, and Leaders should have such GRIT – Our Country would be far more advanced than its current status as A BADLY FAILING NATION, headed by the Worst President in American History, Crooked Joe Biden!”
