During his first term, President Donald Trump faced an unprecedented lawfare attack at the behest of federal prosecutor Robert Mueller, who was appointed under false pretenses to investigate Russian collusion in the 2016 Election by then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in the Spring of 2017, just months after Trump assumed the office of the President for the very first time.

Rosenstein had appointed Mueller on the basis of false information that was created by the Hillary Clinton campaign which accused President Trump and his associates, without evidence, of colluding with Russian officials to ‘steal’ the election from Hillary.

The false information used by Rosenstein, presented through a document called ‘The Steele Dossier,’ was used to give Mueller a blank check, and blanket immunity to illegally target and destroy any ally of the President necessary to conjure the false accusation of corruption, and to ultimately remove President Donald Trump from office.

There were many victims of these vicious and illegal attacks. Many individuals, including Roger Stone, George Papadapolous, General Michael Flynn, and Carter Page were ruthlessly destroyed by a rogue Mueller and his team of lawfare thugs, including Andrew Weissmann and Norm Eisen.

Stone’s Stand Against Federal Prosecutors In The Robert Mueller Investigation

In the case of Roger Stone, who is the longest-serving advisor to the President, having counseled him on his political activity since the late 1980s, prosecutors on the Mueller team attempted, on several occasions, to force Stone to testify against President Donald Trump.

Despite facing a 40-month prison sentence, which he was sentenced to after a D.C. Soviet-style show trial, Stone refused pressure to turn on Trump. He defiantly spoke out throughout his trial, telling media officials after a hearing in Fort Lauderdale that he would refuse to bear false witness against the President in the face of pressure from Mueller and his thugs.

“I will not testify against the president because I would have to bear false witness,”  Stone said outside the courthouse in January of 2019.

Federal prosecutors provided no evidence whatsoever of Russian collusion with the Trump campaign at Stone’s trial. In pretrial motions, prosecutors moved that they did not have an obligation to prove that there was any kind of Russian collusion with the Trump campaign, or that the Democratic National Committee had, in fact, been the target of an online hack with the purloined data going to WikiLeaks to convict him. The Judge granted their motion.

The Judge denied Stone’s defense attorney a sealed report from the private company Crowdstrike, retained by the DNC, that supposedly contained proof of this Russian hack.

Sworn testimony of Crowdstrike Head Shaun Henry proved that Crowstrike had no proof whatsoever that the Russians conducted an online hack of the DNC. It was in Stone’s trial that the DOJ admitted that the FBI never inspected the DNC computer servers to detect whether there was an online hack.

Prosecutors viewed Stone’s testimony against Trump as a ‘crown jewel’ of their case, and were willing to do nearly anything to obtain it, even committing crimes to encourage Stone to break.

He still refused to cave.

Prosecutors provided no proof that Stone was an intermediary for Wikileaks and the Trump campaign, yet Stone was sentenced to 40-months in prison, a sentence that was only avoided due to a full Presidential pardon on December 23rd, 2020.

On November 3, 2020, in a lawsuit brought by Buzzfeed, the Department of Justice released the last remaining redacted and long hidden portions of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s final report.

In that release, Mueller stated that he could find “no factual evidence” that Stone had engaged in Russian collusion, WikiLeaks collaboration, or had played any role in the phishing or publication of John Podesta’s highly embarrassing emails.

On Page 178 the report reads:

“The Office’s determination that it could not charge WikiLeaks or Stone as part of the Section 1030 conspiracy was also informed by the constitutional issues that such a prosecution would present. Under the Supreme Court’s decision in Bartnicki v. Vopper, 532 U.S. 514 (2001), the First Amendment protects a party’s publication of illegally intercepted communications on a matter of public concern, even when the publishing parties knew or had reason to know of the intercepts’ unlawful origin.”

Also on page 178, the report goes on to say:

“The Office determined that it could not pursue a Section 1030 conspiracy charge against Stone for some of the same legal reasons. The most fundamental hurdles, though, are factual ones. 1279 As explained in Volume I, Section III.D.1, supra, Corsi’s accounts of his interactions with Stone on October 7, 2016 are not fully consistent or corroborated. Even if they were, neither Corsi’s testimony nor other evidence currently available to the Office is sufficient to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Stone knew or believed that the computer intrusions were ongoing at the time he ostensibly encouraged or coordinated the publication of the Podesta emails. Stone’s actions would thus be consistent with (among other things) a belief that he was aiding in the dissemination of the fruits of an already completed hacking operation perpetrated by a third party, which would be a level of knowledge insufficient to establish conspiracy liability. See State v. Phillips, 82 S.E.2d 762, 766 (N.C. 1954) (“In the very nature of things, persons cannot retroactively conspire to commit a previously consummated crime.”) (quoted in Model Penal Code and Commentaries § 5.03, at 442 (1985).

“Regardless, success would also depend upon evidence of WikiLeaks’s and Stone’s knowledge of ongoing or contemplated future computer intrusions-the proof that is currently lacking.”

Based on the final, unredacted version of the Mueller report, Stone has been totally and completely vindicated in his fight against the Mueller investigators, who never actually possessed any evidence of wrongdoing on his behalf.

He refused to testify against Trump despite enormous pressure, and perhaps even spending the rest of his life in a prison cell.

Now that we’ve delved into Stone’s ordeal with the Mueller prosecutors, and his successful fight to maintain his integrity and refusal to turn on President Donald Trump, let’s examine the actions of another man hwo faced excruciating pressure to turn on President Donald Trump during his first term, Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen.

Michael Cohen’s Attempts To Destroy Donald Trump And His Voters

While some of President Donald Trump’s associates refused to fold under enormous pressure from the Mueller team, some did in fact fold. Some, like Michael Cohen, went out of their way to try and harm the President, and more importantly, rob the millions of people who voted for Trump of their political voice.

Cohen, more than any single associate of the President targeted by Mueller and his thugs, made a second career out of trashing the President.

The former Trump attorney released several books attacking the President and his allies after winding up in the crosshairs of federal prosecutors. The former attorney even went as far as to invent a false, and now debunked, story about Trump ‘colluding’ with Russian officials on the campaign trail in 2016.

In coordination with the ever-nefarious Steve Bannon, who scammed Trump’s supporters out of over $15 Million with a fake charity he ran on the false premise that MAGA supporters’ donations would help build Trump’s Southern Border wall, Cohen testified falsely that President Donald Trump was ‘aware’ of a 2016 campaign meeting with Russian officials.

The meeting never happened, and Cohen’s lie went on to be a centerpiece of the efforts to impeach and stunt Trump’s ability to implement his agenda during his first term.

Exactly like Stone, Cohen was convicted of lying to Congress by Mueller and his team, a charge Cohen pleaded guilty to in 2018. While Stone refused to ‘play ball’ with Mueller, and to lie on behalf of the false narrative the rogue prosecutor was tasked with creating, Cohen did the exact opposite.

He told federal prosecutors dozens of lies, all provably false, alleging Russian collusion on behalf of President Donald Trump and his allies without a shred of evidence.

Cohen would then go on to write several books about his hatred of President Donald Trump, writing in his book ‘Disloyal, A Memoir,’ that “Trump had cheated in the election, with Russian connivance, as you will discover in these pages, because doing anything — and I mean anything — to ‘win’ has always been his business model and way of life.”

But Cohen, on a deranged lying-binge took things even further than just Russian collusion. The former attorney even accused Trump of raucous sex acts with Russian prostitutes, a long-debunked lie, in ‘Disloyal,’ writing, “From golden showers in a sex club in Vegas, to tax fraud, to deals with corrupt officials from the former Soviet Union, to catch and kill conspiracies to silence Trump’s clandestine lovers, I wasn’t just a witness to the president’s rise—I was an active and eager participant.”

Cohen referred to Trump as an “a cheat, a liar, a fraud, a bully, a racist, a predator, a con man.”

Cohen Made Over $3.4 Million From His Salacious and False Anti-Trump Books

In sworn testimony during Donald Trump’s 2024 hush-money trial, Cohen said the two books together earned him about $3.4 million.

He specified that Revenge brought in around $400,000, which implies Disloyal accounted for the large majority (roughly $3 million). He also said Disloyal generated about $2 million in its first few months and another $1 million afterward.

Not only did Cohen operate as a crucial point of reference in the attempt to remove Trump from office over the false accusation of Russian collusion, and spread vicious and false lies about alleged criminal activities by the President that are a figment of his imagination, but he also made millions of dollars while doing it.

There perhaps isn’t a single individual more responsible for the Mueller witch hunt than Michael Cohen. That’s why his recent pivot, claiming to support the President and reinventing himself as a commentator comes off as disingenuous.

For Cohen, this feels like yet another opportunity to lie for his own benefit.

It has been reported that Cohen is lobbying for a Presidential pardon for charges stemming from his 2018 arrest, which include, five counts of tax evasion, one count of making a false statement to a bank, and two campaign-finance violations tied to hush-money payments.

For the last decade, Michael Cohen, at every possible turn, has worked to sabotage President Donald Trump. Creating false narratives, bearing false witness, inventing damaging and salacious lies, and working on behalf of those who despise President Donald Trump and his voters to undermine the overwhelming decision by the American people to elect Trump in the 2024 Election.
