When examining the landscape of the various enemies facing America today, some are obvious, and some are not. Some jump out, like Democratic Socialists across America that openly support an end to our American way of life, capitalism, and the American dream. Others go unnoticed, or even worse, attempt to blend in with those trying to better the Nation.
One of chief groups of enemies angling to destroy freedom in the United States today are proponents of the surveillance state, who have for decades been slowly infringing upon the everyday freedoms we so-often take for granted in the United States.
Through The Patriot Act in the Bush-era, the United States government, populated by proponents of the surveillance state, allowed for the NSA to begin capturing every communication made by Americans, enabling legal, near-limitless government spying.
Many, if not all, of the legal levers created in the face of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks focused on the FISA court.
Section 215 of the Patriot Act permitted the NSA to collect information, communications, and even financial information from every American under the justification that any ‘relevant records’ may be used through the course of a FISA court-ordered in an FBI investigation. Section 215 expired in 2020 and was not renewed.
Section 206 of the Patriot Act allows for the FBI to place roving wiretaps on anybody it was investigating without obtaining separate court orders for each individual wiretap, which was previously required.
Section 218, maybe the most impactful of all, tore down the traditional wall between intelligence agents and criminal prosecutors, merging the two into what we now refer to as the surveillance state.
The justification from those in power at the time was simple. These measures were being enacted to keep us safe. But America didn’t become safer because of these measures. Not in the slightest.
The Patriot Act And How It Paved The Way For Spying On President Donald Trump’s 2016 Campaign
It’s not a coincidence that most Americans never heard of the FISA court until it was revealed that the court had allowed for President Donald Trump’s 2016 Presidential campaign to be spied on. The same measures from the Patriot Act that we just went over were used, in full force, to monitor the Trump 2016 Presidential campaign, in perhaps the largest political scandal in modern history.
In August 2016, just as Trump was heading into the most crucial point of his fight against Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Election, members of the Obama Justice Department began to create their ‘insurance policy,’ in case Trump were to win. They began to consider placing a FISA warrant on Carter Page, a volunteer foreign-policy adviser who was working with the Trump campaign at the time.
On October 21st, 2016, the FISA court approved, through Judge Rosemary Collyer, allowed for monitoring of all Carter Page’s communications. These were politicized orders signed by senior officials that now appear regularly on MSNOW, including James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, and Rod Rosentstein.
For the first time in American history, Democrat operatives that had infiltrated our Department of Justice used national security protocols in order to monitor the political campaign of their rival, who promised to reform their agency throughout his campaign. If these corrupt individuals had gotten their way, President Donald Trump would have never taken office, and the people would have been robbed of their voice.
The surveillance tools created by the Bush-era Republican establishment were used by the crooked hands of Barack Obama and his Democrat minions in an attempt to destroy Trump’s chances of winning the 2016 Election, and to ultimately rob millions of Americans of their political voice in what was the most crucial election of our time.
That brings us to the modern day.
Flock Cameras: The Modern Patriot Act
As President Donald Trump continues to fulfill his promises to voters in his second term, elements within the surveillance state have re-emerged, intent on forcing their agenda back into the mainstream over 25 years after their last major push.
Flock cameras have become a nationwide scandal. We have posted several stories about the danger surrounding their use and implementation at the StoneZone.
Flock has implemented tens of thousands of its cameras across the country, each having its own license plate readers and artificial intelligence tools. It has also provided police training materials to law enforcement groups nationwide. Some have compared this to similar technology that is used routinely in China to track, harass, and even disappear citizens that stand against government overreach.
CEO Garrett Langley has referred to transparency activists who simply map the locations of these publicly visible cameras as a “terroristic organization,” later issuing an apology after widespread backlash.
Flock isn’t just a futuristic China-style surveillance company either, they have several large investments from many of the exact same people who participated, through the private sector, in the assault on Americans’ liberties waged through the Patriot Act.
One of those investors is Peter Thiel, who co-founded Palantir, a company that was intricately involved in processing NSA data-collection tied to the FISA court expansion and overall protection erosion that occurred following 9/11.
Palantir, founded in 2002 with a $2 Million investment from the CIA’s In-Q-Tel, organized the scraped data from NSA and created a searchable database that could be used by individuals across government agencies, providing a crucial element of support to the surveillance state.
Through Palantir, Paypal, and other ventures, Peter Thiel is now worth an astounding $31.8 Billion.

In 2025, through his Founders Fund, Thiel dumped millions from his fortune into Flock cameras, creating a direct line from the Patriot Act surveillance state to the Flock Camera state of today.
Flock has also recruited several former Republican officials to serve as lobbyists, including former Communications Director of the Trump 2016 transition team Bryan Lanza, First Executive Director of the House Republican Study Committee Jennifer Larkin Lukawski, and former deputy Chief Of Staff to Sen. Roger Wicker Erskine Wells.
The company has reportedly spent $2 Million on seven different lobbyists.
For everyday Americans, Flock represents a dangerous step toward totalitarian authoritarianism. The antithesis of what American is supposed to be, and why it was created in the first place.
For opportunistic influencers like Laura Loomer, Flock is a business opportunity. The establishment activist has posted several tweets since August 1st in support of Flock, even begging for the company to ‘hire’ her.
On August 27th, she tweeted, “I am pro flock camera. Loomered Strategies is open for business if Flock wants to hire my company because I view Flock as a public safety company whose technology is helping to Make America Safe Again, which is why I recently spoke out about my admiration for Flock cameras.People say they care about privacy, but then they say nothing about their iPhone showing them ads for everything they talk about privately. Your own iPhone and Alexa devices spy on you. Would they help police catch your attacker? No. But a flock camera would. I find the opposition to Flock to be irrational. I support Flock cameras.”

In fact, @LoomeredStrat Loomered Strategies is open for business if Flock wants to hire my company because I view Flock as a public safety company whose technology is helping to Make America Safe Again, which is why I recently spoke out about my…
Loomer, who falsely claims to support President Donald Trump, is now openly pushing for the same surveillance state that was used to spy on the President’s 2016 campaign.
Loomer’s willingness to sell out Americans, and even President Donald Trump to the exact same individuals that created the system used to spy on his 2016 campaign demonstrates her lack of loyalty, which is by her own admission always for sale, and a stunning lack of judgement.
For Loomer, it isn’t about what’s right for the country, or right for America, but how much money she can make. Her position on Flock cameras make that very clear.
For President Donald Trump, Flock cameras have been a source of recent discussion. The President, when asked by members of the media just days ago, said that he is taking time to ‘evaluate’ the situation and to make an informed decision.
Several states, including Florida, have already moved to outlaw Flock cameras. Republicans, especially those who voted for President Donald Trump, have generally supported these measures.
Flock has brought mass protests back into the limelight, with freedom-loving activists from sea to shining sea taking action against Flock to outlaw their surveillance of the American people.
