Sources have confirmed to CBS News that the U.S. Military is currently monitoring a high-altitude balloon that is currently flying over the State of Colorado. Officials have reportedly determined that the balloon is not a threat, and are investigating its origin and purpose.
The discovery of this balloon comes just one day after millions of cellular users in the United States were without service for several hours yesterday, prompting internet users to question whether the two events are connected.
Influencers across social media immediately began sharing images of the intelligence balloon that was spotted flying across the contiguous United States in early 2023. That balloon was eventually shot down over the Atlantic Ocean, east of South Carolina. The origin of the balloon currently heading eastward across the Country is unknown at this time.
NORAD released the following statement on the airborne object…
“The balloon was intercepted by NORAD fighters over Utah, who determined it was not maneuverable and did not present a threat to national security. NORAD will continue to track and monitor the balloon. The FAA also determined the balloon posed no hazard to flight safety.”

Interesting story but it does sound familiar to the China Balloon story.
