President Joe Biden arrived in Wilmington, Delaware this evening where he will be spending the weekend on vacation. Earlier today the President visited Baltimore, Maryland to survey the damage done to the Francis Scott Key Bridge.

We reported at Slingshot News that Biden’s Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre misstated the name of that bridge during one of her daily press briefings this week. The White House Press Secretary called the bridge the ‘Francis Scott King’ bridge.

President Joe Biden‘s approval rating currently sits at just 39% according to FiveThirtyEight. His disapproval rating sits at a whopping 55.2%. Heading into the 2024 Election, the Biden Administration is doing everything they can to boost likability.

The President was barraged by Pro-Palestion protestors during his recent Radio City Music Hall fundraiser with former Presidents Barack Obama an Bill Clinton. That fundraiser is said to have raised over $25 Million for the President’s re-election campaign, however, he has faced scrutiny since the event considering that he chose not to attend the wake of NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller in New York on the same day.

The White House signaled this week that they are changing their stance on supporting Israel because of the results of the Democratic primary elections in which thousands of protest votes are being submitted against Joe Biden.

Over 100,000 Michigan Democrats voted for ‘no candidate’ option rather than for the incumbent President in the recent Primary.

Amid turmoil and chaos, it appears that President Joe Biden is headed back to Delaware in order to rest. Former President Trump also has no scheduled events this weekend after campaigning.
