British Television Star Dead at 40
Beloved British television star George Gilbey, best known for his roles on “Gogglebox” and “Celebrity Big Brother,” passed away this week at the age of 40 after a fall at work.
Local police released a statement following the incident.
“We received a report of an incident at Campfield Road in Shoebury at around 10am this morning (27 March), during which a man who was working at height had fallen and sustained an injury.
“The ambulance service including air ambulance were in attendance. Sadly, the man died at the scene.”

Gilbey joined the popular show “Gogglebox” in 2013, where he appeared alongside his mother and stepfather, Linda and Pete.
Gilbey reportedly passed away following a fall at his place of work. George reportedly was working at a height when he fell.
A year after joining “Gogglebox,” George took a brief break from the show to be featured on “Celebrity Big Brother.”
Channel 4 released a statement following Gilbey’s passing.
“George was part of the Gogglebox family for eight series alongside his mum Linda and step-dad Pete.
“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Linda, and George’s family and friends at this very sad time. The family have asked for privacy.”
