Disgraced Congressman George Santos Makes Shocking Announcement

Disgraced Congressman George Santos, who was expelled from Congress after an ethics investigation uncovered that he had allegedly purchased Onlyfans pornographic content with donor money, appeared at the State of the Union address in Washington D.C. yesterday.

Santos began to generate controversy online when one viewer noticed that he was wearing a bejeweled collared shirt. Though Santos may be out of the spotlight, the ex-Congressman is still attempting to generate controversy.

The former Congressman used his appearance at the State of the Union to announce that he will be running for Congress in 2024, this time challenging Rep. Nick LaLota in New York’s 1st Congressional district.

In a statement posted to his X account, Santos said, “Tonight, I came to the SOTU with an open mind and heart because I believe in the great idea that is the United States of America. I just witnessed a weak, frail president deliver spin and lies to the American people from inside the chambers. I have made several personal sacrifices in the name of serving the American people. My promise is that I will never back down because of my love for this country. New York hasn’t had a real conservative represent them since I left office arbitrarily, thanks to RINO, empty suits like@nicklalota. He is a willing to risk the future of our majority and the future of this country for his own political gain. After a lot of prayer and conversation with my friends and family, I have made a very important decision that will shake things up. Tonight, I want to announce that I will be returning to the arena of politics and challenging Nick for the battle over #NY1. I look forward to debating him on the issues and on his weak record as a Republican. The fight for our majority is imperative for the survival of the country. God bless you all, and we are off to the races!”

Lalota penned a response, saying, “To raise the standard in Congress, and to hold a pathological liar who stole an election accountable, I led the charge to expel George Santos. If finishing the job requires beating him in a primary, count me in.”

The district is represented by the Eastern portion of Long Island. It appears that the LaLota-Santos feud is going to be heating up in the coming weeks, as New York’s Primary is set for June 25th, 2024.
