Former Los Angeles Lakers Draft Pick Darius Morris Dies Aged 33
Former Los Angeles Lakers second round draft pick Darius Miller has reportedly died at the age of 33. A cause of death has not yet been revealed for the former Laker.
Miller also spent time with the 76ers, Clippers and Grizzlies. He ended his career after the 2014 NBA season.
His body was reportedly discovered in the Los Angeles area on Thursday. No other information about his death has been disclosed.
Miller was a standout player at the University of Michigan as a collegiate basketball star. He averaged 3.3 points in 132 career games, with 17 starts overall in his NBA career.
The Lakers said in a post acknowledging his death, “We are heartbroken by the passing of Darius Morris.” The post ended with a purple heart emoji.
His family told TMZ about the former Michigan star’s tragic passing,
