The Nation of Israel has just announced that they are closing their airspace from 12:30 AM to 7:00 AM amid reports that dozens of Iranian drones are currently hurdling towards the Israel and set to enter the country’s airspace in the next few hours.

These attacks are a response to an Israeli airstrike that killed Iranian Brig. Gen. Mohammad Reza Zahedi just days ago, along with several other high-ranking Iranian Military officials.

Israeli military and air defenses have been placed on high alert, along with the Israeli airspace being closed. The drones are not set to enter Israeli airspace for several hours, as they were launched from Iran’s mainland.

There are at least 50 drones included in the attack, with certain reports alleging up to 100 drones being used in the attack. This is the first direct Iranian attack against Israeli territory, marking a tremendous escalation in the conflict in the Middle East.

President Joe Biden, who was set to spend the weekend vacationing at his beach house in Delaware, has reportedly cancelled his plans for the weekend and is expected to head back to Washington D.C. immediately to help handle the situation currently unfolding in Israel.

The IDF has confirmed reports that Iran has launched a massive offensive attack against them, and that dozens of drones are expected to enter Israeli airspace in several hours.

With the airspace closed, and Israeli military bracing for an all-out Iranian assault, today is shaping up to be a huge day of escalation for the conflict in the Middle East. We pray for everybody who is currently in harms way.

Iranian commandos seized a British cargo ship this morning, signaling Iran’s intent to go on the offensive. The Independent reported on this,

Commandos from Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard dropped from a helicopter onto the MSC Aries, a container vessel associated with Zodiac Maritime, run by Israeli billionaire Eyal Ofer.

Iran said the vessel would be taken into Iranian territorial waters, though it has not explained the incident.
