White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked today about President Joe Biden’s opinion of immigrants’ impact on the United States as a whole. This question came during Jean-Pierre’s daily press briefing.

Based on data collected at the beginning of 2024, President Joe Biden’s administration has overseen 6.3 Million border crossings since they took power in 2021, making the current Southern Border the most active in U.S. history.

Cities like New York are literally bursting at the seams. Democrats like New York City Mayor Adams who once scolded anybody who questioned the intentions of blind Democrat support for mass immigration are now begging the Biden Administration to stop allowing illegal crossings at the Southern Border.

In response to these calls from members of their own Party to curb illegal immigration, the Biden Administration has chosen to blame former President Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans.

In truth, the Biden Administration, on day one, revoked perhaps the most effective piece of immigration foreign policy every devised, the Remain in Mexico policy negotiated by former President Trump.

The deal allowed for migrants to be held in Mexico, brought additional Mexican Military to the Border for protection, and all-but destroyed any incentive for people to surge the Border. Biden simply threw it away.

One reporter asked Jean-Pierre, “Is the view of this Administration that the inflow of immigrants do more to strengthen the United States or hurt the United States, which does it do more?”

The White House Press Secretary responded by saying,

“So Josh, I appreciate the question and I think it’s an important question as we’re hearing clearly awul rhetoric from the other side. What we know, what this President believes, and you’ve heard the President say this before, is that we know immigrants strengthen our country, and our economy as well. It goes hand-in-hand here.”
