Popular ‘Gen V’ Actor Dead at 27
Chance Perdomo, an American actor best known for his roles in “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and “Gen V,” tragically passed away this week at the age of 27 due to a motorcycle crash.
Perdomo’s publicist released a statement following Chance’s passing.
“On behalf of the family and his representatives, it is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident,”

Authorities have stated that nobody else was involved in the fatal crash, but no other information has been released at this time.
Perdomo starred as Andre Anderson on “Gen V,” a spinoff of the Amazon Prime series “The Boys,” and also playedAmbrose Spellman in “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”
Amazon, MGM Studios, and Sony Pictures Television issued a statement following the young star’s death.
“The entire Gen V family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo. Amazon and MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television extend our heartfelt thoughts and support to Chance’s family and all who loved him at this difficult time.”

The Producers of “Gen V” also released a statement following the tragic incident.
“We can’t quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person. Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.”

Perdomo was born in Los Angeles, California, in October 1996. During his childhood, Chance moved to Southampton, England with his parents and later acquired dual citizenship in America and the United Kingdom.
In the early years of his career, just two years after making his on-screen debut in 2016, Chance was nominated for the British Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as Jerome in the 2018 BBC Three drama film “Killed By Debt.”
In 2019, Perdomo was named Screen International Star of Tomorrow and a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit.
