Independent Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is reportedly looking to make a big splash when it comes to selecting his running mate.

Kennedy, who launched his campaign for President in the 2024 election as a Democrat, eventually dropping from the Democratic primaries and becoming an independent candidate, is reportedly attempting to recruit New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers as his running mate.

Current polls show Kennedy receiving over 11% of the vote in the looming 2024 Election, which would make him the most successful independent candidate for President since Ross Perot in 1992.

Kennedy has reportedly approached New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers about possibly being his running mate in 2024. In order to gain ballot access in some states, RFK Jr. will have to declare a running mate.

It is unknown whether Rodgers accepted, or is considering this alleged offer from Kennedy Jr. The New York Times could not reach the quarterback for comment on the issue.

Kennedy is also reportedly considering ex-Minnesota Governor and professional wrestler Jesse Ventura for a running mate. Kennedy confirmed that Ventura and Rodgers are both high on his list for potential running mates.

Rodgers would potentially add an element of pop culture to Kennedy’s campaign, which based on polling data, stands to detract far more voted from former President Trump than from President Joe Biden. When Jesse Ventura was Governor of Minnesota, he boasted an impressive approval rating, and is still considered popular to this day.

Kennedy’s message is resonating with a large percentage of American voters. Instead of asking themselves why that is, it appears that the mainstream media has resorted to attacking Mr. Kennedy.

Instead of doing traditional media, RFK Jr. has mainly appeared on podcasts and internet shows ahead of the 2024 Election. His results will show more than his appeal, but the reliability of online video programs. Much like 2016 showed the power of social media posts, 2024 could be the election of the podcast.
