Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio issued a statement today warning Americans about the growing conflict between Iran and Israel, which escalated last week when Israel killed several high-ranking commanders and Iranian General Mohammad Reza Zahedi.

Rubio issued a statement on his X feed this morning stating,

Because Biden decided to create public friction in the U.S.-Israel relationship to appease Pro-Hamas leftists the Iranian regime believes America will not help Israel if/when Iran launches a combined Iran/Hezbollah/Houthi/Shia Militia attack

Senator Rubio then followed up his initial post with another conveying the same message. The Senator’s second message on the issue read,

#Israel is facing the threat of imminent attack, directly from Iran and in combination with coordinated attacks by Hezbollah, Houthis & Iranian proxies in Syria & Iraq Biden must stop the harsh criticism of the only pro-American democracy in the region & make clear the U.S. will support them in defending against and responding to any such attacks

President Joe Biden and his Administration have backtracked on their withdraw of support for Israel this morning after fears of an Iranian attack against Israel have risen. The Biden Administration had previously stated that they were ‘listening to voters,’ by changing their pro-Israel stance.

Biden said, “We’re going to do all we can to protect Israel’s security.”

If Israel and Iran do enter into a larger conflict, it could destabilize the entirety of the Middle East. It could be argued that Iran and Israel are actually currently at war, though Iran is waging its war against Israel through proxies like Hamas and Hezbollah.

As tensions continue to rise in the region, disagreements about Israel’s war continue to rage at home. President Biden faced 100,000 protest votes in the State of Michigan over his support for the Nation of Israel. That protest vote was led by a coalition of Islamic Democrats.
