Tulsi Gabbard Slams Kamala Harris, Defends Vance In 77 WABC Interview

Former Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard appeared on controversial political operative Roger Stone’s Sunday New York WABC radio show this weekend in order to discuss the current struggle for power unfolding within the Democrat Party.

In addition to being a former elected member of the Democrat Party, Gabbard also previously worked as a Democrat Party leader from 2013 to 2016, serving as a Vice Chair for the DNC.

Gabbard had much to comment on during her interview with the veteran political operative, considering she served as the chief opposition to Harris’ failed 2020 Presidential campaign, strongly confronting her on the national Democrat primary debate stage several times over her prosecutorial record.

The Hawaiian Democrat revealed, in front of a national audience, that Harris had prosecuted thousands of individuals for marijuana charges after Harris had joked about smoking marijuana in college.

Gabbard’s takedown of Harris is still widely shared on social media today, and has seen a bit of a revival in the wake of Kamala’s ascent to the presumptive Democrat Presidential nominee. 

Stone and Gabbard began their discussion by reminiscing over the infamous takedown of Harris in the 2020 Democrat Presidential Primary debates. Stone asked Gabbard about Harris’ rise to presumptive Democrat Presidential nominee. The former Congresswoman told Stone,

“Well, quite frankly Roger, none of this should surprise us at all. The Democrat Party unfortunately, and again I have seen this and experienced this myself, and it’s one of the reasosns why I left the Democrat Party, is that not only do they not believe in democracy, they will not hesitate to actively undermine our democracy both within the Democrat Party politics, but as we have seen play out in a very brazen way over this election, in doing so in the country.”

Gabbard accused the Biden Justice Department of attempting to ‘tie up’ former President Donald Trump in court cases in order to prevent him from winning the 2024 Election. 

Gabbard told Stone,

“The evidence is very clear that they [The Democrat Party] are willing to destroy our democracy.”

The native Hawaiian then went on to claim that she witnessed the DNC ‘rig’ the 2016 Presidential Primary for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton against Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. 

The former Congresswoman accused the Democrat Party of trying to ‘prevent’ a Democrat Presidential Primary in the 2024 Election, telling Stone,

“Fastforward to here where we are in 2024. They did their very best to try to prevent their being a Democratic Primary in this election. They cancelled Primary elections in some states, in other states they wouldn’t allow the candidates that were seeking to challenge Joe Biden in the Democrat Primary, they wouldn’t even let them have their names on the ballot. Once again taking the right of voters, even Democrat Primary voters, away from them so that they, the Democrat elite, the people who are unelected, could pick and choose who they want to be their figurehead that they can continue to control, just as they have with Joe Biden.”

Gabbard claimed that she is ‘impressed’ with U.S. Senator J.D. Vance as former President Donald Trump’s choice as a running mate in the 2024 Election, claiming that he has worked against the ‘military industrial complex’ as a member of the Senate.

Stone slammed rumors that Trump is considering replacing Vance as his Vice Presidential pick, claiming that they are ‘baseless’ and that the former President is steadfast in his choice of the U.S. Senator from Ohio.

Towards the end of her interview with the controversial political operative, Gabbard took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming that the former U.S. Senator from California would be ‘worse than President Joe Biden’ for the United States.

Gabbard claimed that the mainstream media is ‘whitewashing’ the record of Harris, telling Stone,

“Kamala Harris would be an even worse President from country standpoint than Joe Biden becuase she’s routed in ideology, she is an ideologue, she is rooted in ideology that is far more extreme than Joe Biden and anything he has ever stood for.”

Gabbard listed two examples, Harris’ handling of the U.S. Southern Border, and the former prosecutor’s record. Gabbard warned that Harris would ‘weaponize’ the Justice Department if she ever became President.
