White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to comment on a reported imminent threat from the Nation of Iran. Senior Biden Administration officials have anonymously told CNN that Iran is currently readying a strike against both American and Israeli targets in the middle east.
The conflict between Iran and Israel, which to this point has been waged by Iran via proxies in the form of Hamas and Hezbollah, was escalated last week when Israel struck and killed several Iranian military leaders in an airstrike.
Jean-Pierre was asked today during her daily press briefing, “Iran is threatening a significant attack against Israel. With all of the U.S. assets in the region, will the U.S. provide assistance in thwarting this attack, how is the U.S. preparing to respond?”
The White House Press Secretary responded by saying,
“America’s support for Israel’s security is iron-clad, especially against these threats that are coming from Iran and their proxies, and so the President made that clear as well when he spoke to President Netenyahu just last week as I mentioned moments ago I wanna be really careful I’m not gonna get into operational, uh, procedures from here beyond that. We’ve made ourselves very, very clear the President made himself very clear just yesterday and so I just don’t have anything else to add”

Later on in the briefing, Jean-Pierre said “I don’t want to get into hypotheticals here,” when asked about bracing for an Iranian attack against Israel. See a clip of that interaction from today’s daily press briefing below,

As far as an Iranian attack is concerned, the White House has no intention of revealing any information. That much is clear.
