Cynthia Simon Skjodt is a philanthropist who is the co-founder and Board Chair of the Samerian Foundation. She is the daughter of Melvin Simon, who cofounded the Simon Realty Group, and died in 2010 with a net worth of over $1.3 Billion.

Now in 2024 Cynthia Simon Skjodt is the top contributor to the Biden-Harris campaign. On May 10th, 2024, Skjodt gave a $1,000,000 donation to the Biden-Harris campaign for President.

Skjodt, a Democrat megadonor, has also given $1,000,000 to the Senate Majority PAC controlled by Chuck Schumer in the 2024 Election cycle, as well as over $41,000 to the Democrat National Committee.

The millionaire philanthropist has given $1,000,000 to Chuck Schumer’s Senate Majority PAC for last several election cycles dating back to 2018. See evidence of those yearly $1,000,000 contributions below,

The Samerian Foundation, run by Skjodt, describes itself on its website as, “providing funds through a grant making process for education, economic development, health, youth sports, community organizations meeting the needs of the under served, and humanitarian projects. Focusing on disadvantaged youth, education, youth sports, poverty and hunger prevention, medical and health care programs, community development, the environment, building strong families, the advancement of human rights and social needs, and the arts.”

The Samerian Foundation currently reportedly controls over $66 million is assets, taking in over $3.7 Million in donations each year.

Skjodt, who lives in Indiana and is heavily involved in the State’s political scene, has historically associated with Mike Pence, who served as the Governor of Indiana prior to ascending to the Vice Presidency under former President Donald Trump. Did The Biden-Harris Campaign Engage In Pay-To-Play With Skjodt Appointment?

Just two months prior to her decision to donate $1,000,000 to the Biden-Harris campaign, Cynthia Simon Skjodt was appointed as a member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Foundation by President Joe Biden.

The announcement of Skjodt’s appointment was made amongst a flurry of other Board appointments that included several other major Biden-Harris donors.

The United States Holocaust Memorial Foundation brings in an annual revenue of over $193,000,000. The organization spends over $165,000,000 per year, and receives over $60,000,000 per year in federal subsidies.

In total, the United States Holocaust Memorial Foundation controls nearly $1,000,000,000 in total assets, and it appears that Skjodt was able to maneuver herself into being partially in control of that vast fortune with a simple donation to the Biden-Harris campaign.

Did the Biden-Harris campaign merely appoint Skjodt for the large campaign donation she gave just weeks after her appointment?

Skjodt Roll In The Post-Obama Democrat Party

Towards the very end of his Presidency, in July of 2016, former President Barack Obama also appointed Skjodt as a member of this exact same Board, the United States Holocaust Memorial Foundation.

Though her involvement in funding Holocaust awareness is both admirable and important, the political implications of Skjodt’s appointment were extreme to say the least.

Following her initial appointment in 2016, Skjodt has carpet-bombed the Democrat Party with over $9.6 Million in donations. These donations have largely gone to Chuck Schumer’s coffers in the Senate, with another large portion going to the Biden-Harris campaign.
