Biden Campaign Criticizes Trump For Attending Wake Of NYPD Officer Diller

The re-election campaign of President Joe Biden has recently questioned the motives of former President Trump for attending the wake of NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller, who was slain in the line of duty last week.

The campaign held a press conference today with former Capitol Police Sergeant Aquilino Gonell and Metropolitan Police Officer Daniel Hodges to talk about the events of January 6th after President Biden failed to attend Diller’s wake.

Instead of attending the wake of the fallen officer, Biden chose to attend a high-dollar fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall with former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, the singer Lizzo, and late night TV host Stephen Colbert.

The event was swarmed by pro-Palestine protestors, who chanted ‘Genocide Joe,’ outside of the venue, with a few protestors even making their way into the event and being escorted out after erupting in protest.

Biden reportedly raised some $25 Million with the fundraiser. In an obvious political move to save face after ignoring officer Jonathan Diller’s wake, the Biden campaign held a press conference with several officers who witnessed the events of January 6th, 2021.

During that press conference, several speakers questioned Trump’s attendance of the wake, alluding that the former President may have attended for political reasons. One speaker can be quoted as saying,

“I don’t think it was a deep personal connection between Donald Trump and detective Diller that motivated Trump to attend the wake for this particular officer.”

During the events of January 6th, then-President Donald Trump posted a video to his Twitter account where he called on his supporters to respect the men and women of law enforcement specifically. Trump said on that day,

“You have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order, we have to respect our great people in law and order. We don’t want anybody hurt.”
