Biden Protestor

First Lady Jill Biden appeared in Arizona today in order to deliver remarks for a ‘Women for Biden-Harris’ event in Tuscon. Harris’ tour kicked off in Atlanta, Georgia.

During Jill Biden’s time speaking at this event, the First Lady was brutally heckled by a number of protestors who began to shout her down. The protestors shouted about Gaza, with one woman saying, “Jill, when are you and the President going to call for a ceasefire in Gaza?”

One protestor, who shouted this particular remark, was restrained by security and removed from the event as she shouted about Gaza. See a clip of that moment below,

Biden held her composure, and eventually responded by saying, “My hope is by next Monday we’ll have a ceasefire.”

This moment comes after the Biden Administration began to airdrop food aid to the Gaza territory this morning. We reported on that breaking news this morning, saying,

The United States officially airdropped humanitarian aid on the Gaza strip today after President Joe Biden announced that his Administration would be sending additional aid to the area yesterday.

The aid was announced after talks of a ceasefire fell through, sparking concerns of a famine in Gaza. Other nations, including France, have started dropping food into the region.

Three C-130 planes reportedly dropped 38,000 meals contained within 66 bundles into Gaza this morning at 8:30 am EST. The effort was reported coordinated with the Royal Jordanian Air Force, who has also been sending aid.

The food was reportedly dropped in southwest Gaza, on the beach along the territory’s Mediterranean coast. The IDF has alleged that Gazans attacked food trucks that entered the territory have been torn apart, and even killed some Gazans in the fray of chaos after they entered the region.
